We are looking for capable Stock Clerks to support our company's warehouse operations at our distribution center just south of downtown.

Responsible for regularly performing warehouse shipping and receiving duties and any and all duties of the Stock Clerk, as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.
NOTE: All staff will be required to take a 1 hr lunch break from Noon-1pm.
Responsibilities:
- Put pallets of incoming stock in proper bulk storage locations.
- Receive small orders weighing approximately three pounds from the pickers.
- Replenish bins with books received from the stock pickers.
- Moving inventory, bulk or otherwise, between satellite warehouses.
- Fulfilling outbound orders
Competencies:
- Strong judgement needed.
- Excellent verbal and written skills required.
- Ability to perform multiple concurrent tasks.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
Additional Requirements:
- Stockroom and receiving experience preferred.
- Forklift experience and permit certification preferred.
- Familiarity with CRT terminal preferred.
- Ability to read and calculate simple mathematical problems required.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- Warehouse environment.
- Exposure to moving machinery.
- High dust, dirt environment.
- High noise environment.
- Daily attendance.
- Ability to stand for long periods on concrete floor.
- Ability to bend, crouch and stoop.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
