The Returns Associate is responsible for proper physical and systemic processing of returned customer orders. This includes un-packaging and inspection of apparel, determining disposition, and processing the customer requests for refunds and exchanges in our computer system. The Returns Associate works safely and with a high sense of urgency to meet performance standards.
Job Duties
- Opens shipping bags and packages, removes items, and verifies customer information
- Uses a computer to locate customer accounts and orders
- Matches returned items to items on customer orders
- Inspects items and determines if items are in new and unused condition
- Folds items and places items that can be resold in product bags
- Prints item labels and affixes correct product labels to product bags
- Places items on conveyor belt to be returned to stock
- Determines disposition of items not returned in new and unused condition and routes items based on established guidelines
- Verifies accuracy of data entered
