Position Summary
A stadium concessions worker may work a variety of jobs to operate stadium concessions to ensure customer and guest needs are satisfied. Jobs could include runner, barista, food service, food prep, bartender, custodial, and more.
Essential Functions Could Include
- Maintains a clean and orderly environment for the safety and health of others
- Operates a register and/or software system to complete cash and credit card transactions
- Prepares and builds food items according to standardized recipes and directions
- Serves prepared food items
- Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- Maintains knowledge of menu items and recipes to effectively service the customer
- Sets up and breaks down workstations, including cleaning and sanitizing
- Maintains appearance of location ensuring product is stocked to appropriate levels and all areas are properly cleaned and sanitized
- Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains appearance of workstations and guest service areas
- Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
- Maintains excellent customer service, anticipating guest needs, and a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
- Adheres to facility and company safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
- Ensures security of company assets
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience preferred
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills and a sense of urgency
- Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Requires constant standing and walking
- Requires lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs
