Responsibilities
- Read blueprints, work orders and dimensions on drawings to perform assigned tasks.
- Utilize micrometers, calipers, and hand tools.
- Monitor equipment for problems and relay any problems to the shop supervisor.
- Inspect parts for quality.
- Follow production instructions of supervisor to ensure quality.
- Carryout basic calculations with calculator aid.
- Follow written instructions.
- Maintain quality and quantity with strong sense of accountability and high standards.
- Complete work orders and quality control documentation.
- Willing to cross train in other departments.
- Clean and maintain equipment and work area.
